Our story
Sakamoto Ryoma was a visionary samurai who modernized Japan through naval innovation and trade while advocating for democracy during political upheaval. We chose Ryoma as our namesake because we share his transformative spirit. Building an AI personality that combines samurai wisdom, financial expertise, and product recommendation capabilities has been a thrilling journey.

Ryoma Corporation, founded in early 2024, specializes in AI-powered sales automation solutions. Our founders—Jonathan Epstein, a Harvard-educated executive with decades of Japanese business experience, and John Bennett, an ex-AWS engineering leader with deep ties to Japan—first collaborated during Asurion Japan's rapid growth in the late 2000's. They've assembled a group of former Asurion and Amazon colleagues to create a world-class team.
